Nominate your Platinum Jubilee party to win a Birds Bakery buffet

Corgi-shaped shortbread, Union Jack chocolate mice and delicious pies complete with a crown are among the treats up for grabs, as part of Birds Bakery’s new Jubilee range.

The much-loved East Midlands bakery is celebrating the launch of the range by giving away a celebration platter to help feed guests at three street parties in the region, to mark the Queen’s 70th year on the throne.

One party in Derbyshire, one in Nottinghamshire and another in Leicestershire will receive a large mixed savoury platter from Birds, as well as 12 Jubilee Cupcakes, helping to feed eager guests.

To be in with a chance of winning, party organisers need to visit Bird’s Facebook page and leave a comment under the Jubilee party competition post. It should detail when the party is happening, where it is taking place, how many people are coming and the reason why they would like a Birds celebration platter on the Jubilee buffet table.

The competition closes on Friday 27 May 2022, with the three winners being chosen by a panel of Birds judges. They will then receive their platter in time for their event.

Birds launched its limited-edition Jubilee range in May, which includes British bakery classics such as pork pies topped with a crown, Jubilee Doughnuts, Battenberg Cake, colourful cupcakes and Belgian chocolate Jubilee Lollies. A huge range of party platters comprising pastries, sausage rolls, sandwiches and sweet treats are also available, with vegetarian options on offer.

Birds Bakery has 62 stores across the region including [Nottingham Victoria Centre, Arnold, Beeston and Bulwell] . Many Birds products, including those in the Jubilee range can also be ordered online and delivered to buyers’ homes using either the Birds By Post or Birds At Home delivery services.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

11- Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter.

12- The winner will be notified by DM on Facebook. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 5 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

13- The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.

14- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
