We have a unique opportunity for a full time Butcher to join our Savoury department at our prestigious Ascot Drive Bakery.
- Break down a side of pork into primals, and then bone out and trim the primals to Bird's exacting standards.
- Experience in sausage production, along with experience working in a high-care/cooked meat environment, will be advantageous.
- An individual with a positive, flexible attitude who will be able to work under pressure without compromising quality or safety.
- Demonstrate the ability to work to a high standard in an efficient, clean and tidy manner, observing the highest food hygiene guidelines to meet strict despatch deadlines.
The selection process will involve a block test and interview. Previous food experience is needed, and full training will be provided for suitable applicants.
Shifts are fixed with no rotation of shift patterns. Immediate start is available.
4 weeks holiday per year increasing incrementally each year to 5 weeks holiday per year (after 5 years continuous service) plus bank holidays. Staff discount.
Hours: 45 p/w
Rate: £481.50 p/w - £511.20 p/w
