Job description

We have a unique opportunity for full-time Bakers to join our Night Bakery Team at our prestigious Ascot Drive Bakery.

Skills required

• Understand the fermentation process involved in mixing, shaping and baking of various bread types;
• Able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of machinery and baking processes;
• Able to demonstrate ability to work to a high standard in an efficient, clean and tidy manner, observing the highest food hygiene guidelines to meet strict despatch deadlines.
• Ideally, applicants will also have confectionery skills such as creaming, piping and coating.
• Previous bakery experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided for suitable applicants.

Very competitive rate of pay. Shifts are fixed with no rotation of shift patterns.

Free on-site parking. 4 weeks holiday per year increasing incrementally each year to 5 weeks holiday per year (after 5 years continuous service) plus bank holidays. Staff discount.

Hours: 45 p/w

Rate: £629.10 p/w – £670.95 p/w
