Have you found yourself saying, ‘If they ever need a taste tester, I’m in’ – well, now is the perfect opportunity to get involved.
We are searching for one lucky customer to join our team in our new, honourary, annual position of ‘Official Taste Tester’. This is the perfect opportunity to get hands-on with our classics, try brand-new creations, and even sneak behind the scenes at how our bakes come to life. From Elephants Feet to Sausage Rolls, and trialling new flavours - this position is all about being the voice of our custoemrs and helping us shape our future products!
Taste the Classics
We all have our favourites, and our Product Taste Tester will get the chance to savour them all. You’ll experience the flavours and processes that have made Birds a household name.
Be the First to Try New Creations
Our bakers are always experimenting. Raspberry & Pistachio Danishes, Overnight Oats, and chewy Cookies - the list goes on! Our Taste Tester will be among the first to sample these new treats, giving honest feedback and helping shape what goes into stores next.
Go Behind the Scenes
This isn’t just about tasting. It’s about seeing where the magic happens. You will get a peek into the bakery, meet the talented team behind the scenes, and understand the craft and care that goes into each product.
Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for someone 18+, living within reasonable distance of a Birds store, and most importantly, someone who genuinely loves Birds products. No experience is necessary - all you need is great taste, an open mind, and a love of cake.
Whether you’re a weekend pastry adventurer, a mid-week lunch fan, or simply someone who knows their cream from their crème pat, this is a celebration of what makes Birds so special: the love of great flavours and the people who enjoy them.
Applications closing on Sunday 8th February, and you will need to be available the week commencing 9th February to meet with our Marketing Team.
