Official Product Taste-Tester application
We’re on the lookout for one Birds customer to become our Official Product Taste Taster.
From our best‑loved classics to exciting new creations, you’ll help us taste, test and shape the future of Birds, all while enjoying some very tasty treats along the way.
If you love Birds, enjoy flavour innovation, and want a behind‑the‑scenes look at how our products are made, this could be for you.
The Official Product Taste Tester is a one‑off opportunity for a Birds fan to work closely with our team, sampling both existing favourites and new product ideas, and providing honest feedback.
You will also be required to feature in Birds content across social media, email or PR as we share your tasting journey.

What does the role entail?
- Tastings of iconic Birds products
- Exclusive previews of new and upcoming items
- Opportunities to share feedback directly with our product team
- Behind‑the‑scenes experiences at Birds
Who can apply to be Birds Product Taste Tester?
- You must be aged 18 or over
- You must live within a reasonable travelling distance of a Birds store
- No previous experience required, just a love of Birds products
- You don’t need to be a food expert
Key dates
- Applications open: 26th January
- Applications close: 8th February
- The successful candidates must be available the w/c 9th February for a photocall
- Official Product Taster announced: 16th February

Simply complete the application form below and submit a short 100-word ‘cover letter’ telling us why you’d make a great Birds Official Product Taster.
In your response, we’d love to hear:

- What your favourite Birds product is (and why)
- Whether you have any fond memories connected to Birds
- What makes you the perfect person to help us taste and test our products
We’re not looking for perfect writing; just honesty, enthusiasm and a genuine love for Birds.
